Amica Eco Hairdressing in Dublin marks 25 years in business

Updated on 19th Jul 2025

Amica Eco Hairdressing in Dublin is marking its 25th year in business this summer.

Co-owned by Greg and Alison Clarke, the Castleknock salon opened as Collage Hair Group in 1999, before rebranding to Amica Eco Hairdressing in recent years to reflect its evolving ethos, which is that small, conscious changes can make a big impact. From eco-friendly products to zero-waste initiatives, Amica aims to represent what a future-focused salon can look like.

As well as winning a sustainability impact award, Amica has won Salon Team of the Year two years in a row at the Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards.

The milestone celebrations kicked off with an in-salon event for clients, friends and the full Amica family, with goodie bags provided by some of Amica’s partners, including Phorest, ALFAPARF Milano Professional, Davines, Joico and HS Milano

This event was followed by a team trip to Liverpool. “This milestone belongs to everyone who’s been part of our story,” said Alison Clarke. “It was important to celebrate both with our clients and internally with the team.”

The Clarkes attribute their ongoing success to their loyal clients, strong sustainability mission and, above all, to the team – past, present and future. “The culture we’ve built, the creativity we share and the care we give our clients all comes down to the incredible people who’ve been part of the Amica family over the years,” added Greg Clarke.
