Are you the best business director in the industry?

Professional Beauty/Hairdressers Journal Ireland presents the Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards on the evening of Sunday, 6 November in Dublin, as part of the annual PB/HJ show weekend.

With 16 categories in total – eight for beauty and eight for hair, split to recognise business and creative skills – all entries will be judged independently by industry experts who are selected for their knowledge and expertise.

Among the hair categories is Business Director of the Year. If you are the driving force behind your salon, and a forward-thinking entrepreneur, then this category is for you.

As part of your submission, we want to know why you should win this award, which can be sent in written form or via a 90-second video filmed on your phone.

We want you to tell us about your role as director, what you are most proud of and how you motivate others. We’d also like to hear about the skills you have that help you excel in your position, your passions within the industry and how are you viewed by your peers.

Other information required includes additional activities you are involved in within the industry, a recent photograph of yourself and a description or your professional self in 50 words.

A joint entry in this category may consist of a maximum of three directors, while finalists will be required to attend a virtual interview later this year.
