Calling all nail salons! Enter the Beauty, Hair and Spa Awards 2020

Professional Beauty and Hairdressers Journal Ireland are launching the Beauty, Hair and Spa awards, taking place on the evening of Sunday November 2020.
Providing two streams of categories showcasing the beauty and hair industries, the awards will unite therapists with stylists and creative teams with nail technicians.
Nail Salon of the year
Who can enter?
Any salon in Ireland that opened before the end of October 2019 and advertises itself as doing mainly or exclusively nails or hand and foot services.
What will you be asked on your entry form?
Your details
You will be asked to submit details about you within our general award entry application form.
Within this section you will also be asked for your social media channels – top tip! Make sure they look professional and show off your best work across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
About the salon
You will be asked a series of questions about the salon you work in such as the number of treatment rooms, when the salon opened, which brands you stock and use and why you think your salon should win this award.
Alongside profiling questions you will be asked to provide details on the following:
1. Your salon’s philosophy and it’s point of difference
2. Explain how your salon excels at customer service
3. How you deal with customer complaints
4. Your operational and marketing initiatives for the last 12 months, supported by examples
5. Your retail strategy and measuring success
6. Your training and development, supported by examples
7. How you maintain a high standard of hygiene
What do you need to upload?
Alongside your application you will need to provide high resolution photos of the following areas of the salon:
1. Reception area
2. Treatment area
3. Salon exterior
4. Treatment menu
You will also be able to upload any supporting documents that you think will make your entry stand out!
