Highlights from Ireland's largest beauty and hair event for professionals
Professional Beauty & HJ Live Ireland was a roaring success!
The largest event for beauty, hair and spa professionals took place at the RDS Dublin on 20-21 October and it was great to see an array of beauty therapists, hair professionals, nail technicians, make-up artists and salon owners and managers who enjoyed two days of live demonstrations, education, industry leading brands and product launches.

CPD-Accredited Education
The live stages provided up-to-date education throughout the two show days. Three live education programmes included the following stages…Advanced Treatments & Skincare, Business & Digital Skills and Trend Watch and Treatments.
Two fabulous highlights from the two days were our fantastic hosts, Claudia McGloin for Advanced Treatments and Skincare & Caroline Quinlan for Business and Digital Skills. The stages were a great opportunity for networking with industry experts, to discuss business challenges and to ask for tips and tricks to take home to your business or clinic.
Championships
The Irish Nail and Lash Championships retuned to the RDS, ran by nail expert Denise Wright and Lash competition director, Heather Hugues. The two days brought together both novice, expert and professional competitors showcasing their skills and being recognised for their talents!
Nail Workshops
The nail workshops were fantastic this year! Students and beginners were able to learn and expand their knowledge on Tip & Overlay and Gel Polish application in a friendly and educational environment. Thank you to all those who came, we hope you learnt something new and are now able to continue your training further.
HJ Live

The HJ Live Stage returned this year and featured artists from across the country including, Sarah Mason, Rick Roberts and Warren Flynn. Click here to see the full line up. Hosted by Hairdressers Journal’s Editor Laura Husband HJ Live was a hub of hair-raising activity across the two show days!
Thank you for attending our last year at the RDS Dublin. Next year we will return to Ireland with new dates (8-9 November) and a new venue (City West, Dublin) for an even bigger, fabulous show!
