Irish woman in Australia invents fake tan product

An Irish woman living in Australia has created and developed an innovative fake tan product.

GlowDry is the brainchild of Fiona Dunne, a professional spray tan technician and new mum of one.

Hailing from Dublin, Dunne, who says she is “deathly pale and fake tan obsessed”, found her tanning routine changed after becoming a busy mum in Perth, Western Australia – where it is mostly hot.

Despising the wet sticky feeling and smell, while waiting for the tan to develop, she set her sights on creating a solution. The result is a powder that dries fake tan.

GlowDry aims to create convenience and comfort so tanning at any time of the day is now possible. Made with just four all natural ingredients, organic starch, organic West Australian clay, natural mica minerals and fragrance, the powder dries fake tan instantly and masks odours with a beachy scent.

The idea is that the user simply applies their fake tan of choice (self-tanner or spray tan) and brush on GlowDry powder immediately after.
