Make-up Artist of the Year – enter to win!

The PBHJ Beauty, Hair and Spa Awards are taking place on 7 November at Citywest in Dublin, with two category streams across hair and beauty.

Among the beauty categories is Make-up Artist of the year, which is open to any make-up artist providing full make-up services, who has been working in a salon or spa or as a freelance or mobile make-up artist since at least the end of 2019.

Ireland is bursting with make-up artist talent right now. The sector features a diverse range of professionals, who are creative and innovative, with in-depth knowledge of trends, techniques and products. If you believe you are one of them, the time is now to enter so you can tell us what makes you the best.

In order to enter you will need to:

1. Upload your CV – make sure this is up to date and contains all of you relevant experience.
2. Upload your certificates – the judges will want to see your achievements.
3. Provide three images showcasing the creativity of your make-up work with background information for each image.
4. Upload eight photographs to create a step-by-step of a complete make-up look. The photographs need to be accompanied by a written technical explanation of each step, and the system you have used and why
5. Upload a high-resolution shot of yourself in a work environment.
