Professional Beauty & Hair – highlights from day one! 

Professional Beauty & Hair, in partnership with Irish Beauty, is currently taking place in Dublin’s RDS, with the event making a successful comeback after a three-year break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Kicking off yesterday, it continues today with another jam-packed schedule, as the industry reboots, reconnects and reunites.

Highlights from day one include a range of educational content on the live stages, with speakers giving advice on a variety of salon-related topics.

The Hair and Barbering Stage saw Jolene McCarthy do an extensions demonstration, while the Trends and Techniques Stage featured salon business expert Liz McKeon giving guidance on future-proofing your business. On the Skin and Advanced Treatments Stage Louise O'Loughlin gave a talk on oncology aesthetics.

There's lots more in store over the course of today as the line-up includes Richard Correia on the Hair and Barbering Stage, a lash lift demonstration from Shona Mahon on the Trends and Techniques Stage, and tips on offering the ultimate skin treatment packages from The Buff Day Spa’s Sinead Sisson on the Skin and Advanced Treatments Stage.

There’s also a chance to show off your skills in the Nail Competitions area, along with unprecedented access to all the latest industry products and innovations, and opportunities to once again network with peers.
