Wella TrendVision Award 2019 Ireland heat finalists announced

For TrendVision 2019, there are two international categories: Colour Artist of the Year, where competitors are required to showcase a wearable beautiful colour-focused look; and Creative Artist of the Year, where competitors are required to style an on-trend cut and finish or hair-up with an editorial feel. In addition, there are two categories exclusive to Ireland and the UK: Male Grooming and Runway.
The heats have been aptly called #wellacreativeremix and feature a whole new format. Each event will have a relaxed, informal and creative vibe, with a model showcase. The Ireland heat will include a show from the Wella Professionals Irish Style Council in collaboration with Bruce Masefield. It takes place on Monday, 19 August at the InterContinental Dublin.
Among the finalists are Alex Keville, Alan Keville for Hair; Niamh Coleman, Niall Colgan Hairdressing; Nicole McCormack, House of Colour; Olivia O'Keeffe, Pelo Hairdressing; Ciaran Cannon, Zeroone Salon; Marco Dias, The Studio; Nikita Purdy, Crowstreet Collective; Patrick Gildea, Patrick Gildea Hairdressing; and Collette Jones, Talbot Hair Company.
“TrendVision is one of the most respected competitions in the hairdressing calendar and we are incredibly proud of the passion and enthusiasm of our competitors,” said Jerome Toulza, Wella’s education and sales director UK & Ireland. “This year the standard has been extremely impressive, and the judges had a tough job choosing their finalists. Congratulations to everyone who has reached the next stage and special thanks to all our judges – without them this would not be possible.”
