The Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards 2024 are now open for entries, with the gala ceremony returning to the InterContinental Dublin on 10 November.
With 14 categories in total, you can enter one or more, and this is your first opportunity to promote yourself, your team and your business.
With that in mind, we have some advice to help you navigate the process, and give you the best chance of becoming a finalist.
Choose your category or categories. Make sure that you're entering one/ones for you by reading the full list and entry criteria for each.
Understand your responsibilities. Be aware of what you need to submit when you enter, and what is required of you if you are shortlisted. For example, if you are shortlisted for the Therapist of the Year and Business Director of the Year categories, you will be required to attend a virtual interview in September.
Make a note of important dates. Make sure you're aware of the deadline date of 5pm on 25 July 2024. Entries cannot be accepted once the date has passed, so add this to your diary now.
Don't leave entering to the last minute. Failing to submit your entry in time will mean we cannot put your entry into the judging process, so please submit your entry well before the deadline.
Make sure your contact details are correct. All entries must be submitted in English and must have a valid phone number and email address that the team can contact you on. If your details do change at all throughout the awards timeline, please let us know immediately.
Include supporting documents. If you have won any previous awards, please upload a certificate/photo. If you have been featured or mentioned in press, scan the article to provide this as part of your entry. These supporting documents give you the perfect opportunity to grab our judges' attention.
Do a final check. Before submitting your entry, check and check again! This is your chance to impress our judges, so make the best impression possible by ensuring that you have answered every question, and that your passion in your chosen category shines through.
