Professional Beauty & Hair 2024 is returning to Dublin's RDS on 21-22 April, with the Make-up Competitions being among the many highlights at this year's event.
Taking place over the two days of the show, they will be hosted by Emma Rutherford, who is a make-up artist (MUA), educator and editorial director of Warpaint magazine.
We're hugely excited to announce the judging panel, which features some big names from Glow Up Ireland as Emma O'Byrne and Cathyanne Mac Allister join the line-up.
O’Byrne is an internationally-renowned MUA, with experience in fashion, bridal and celebrity make-up, as well as London, New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks.
Mac Allister is also an internationally-renowned MUA, who has worked on numerous editorial, commercial, fashion and beauty campaigns, with models, photographers, directors and celebrities.
Also joining the panel as head judge is James Mac, who was a finalist in season two of Glow Up UK. He went on to appear as a guest judge on Glow Up Ireland and has been making in the make-up industry over the past few years.
With categories such as Character, Bridal, Bodypaint and Creative Front Cover, the Make-up Competitions at Professional Beauty & Hair are a perfect way for both professional and student MUAs to gain recognition in this sector, which is bursting with talent.
