The Irish Hairdressers Federation (IHF) announced its Star Team 2027 line-up at the recent IHF Championships at the Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny.
Star Team is an annual IHF initiative, which sees the industry body look for passionate and motivated individuals who believe they will make an impact on the future of the hairdressing industry in Ireland.
Open to trainee stylists currently undergoing training, candidates initially fill in an online application form in which they explain their future ambitions. They then participate in a virtual interview, before the shortlist competes in the Star Team Semi Finals.
The Star Team 2027 members are Caitlin O’Driscoll, Brown Sugar, Dublin; Grace Culhane, Cyril Morgan, Limerick; Jade Duffy, Mood Hair & Beauty, Dublin; Laura Breen, Lynda Maher Hair Studio, Carlow; and Molly Carroll Vanilla Hair Design, Carlow.
They will now embark on a year-long journey of exclusive education opportunities with well-known hair stylists and mentors in Ireland.
