Free compliance audit tool for aesthetic clinics launched at DANAI conference

Websites for Clinics by Salon Solutions has launched a free suite of online tools to help aesthetic clinics check their websites against advertising rules, plan their budgets and spot lost revenue.

The launch took place at the Aesthetic and Regenerative Medicine (ARM) Conference, hosted by DANAI (Dermatology Aesthetic Nurses Association Ireland) at Croke Park in Dublin on 18–19 October, where Websites for Clinics was a silver sponsor.

The centrepiece of the suite is the Aesthetic Clinic Website Compliance Audit Tool. A clinic owner can enter their web address and the tool reviews their public-facing pages against selected Irish guidance (ASAI and HPRA) and UK guidance (ASA, CAP Code and MHRA). It flags potential risks, such as promotion of prescription-only medicines, unsupported outcome claims and old terms left in page metadata, and then gives page-specific findings with suggested alternative wording.

Clinics can choose between two free checks. The Website Design Audit reviews the homepage and up to five treatment pages for layout, navigation and the booking journey. The Compliance Audit scans up to 15 pages, including metadata.

The suite also includes the Aesthetic Clinic Budget Planner, a free spreadsheet for practitioners opening or growing a clinic; and the Clinic Revenue Potential Calculator, which models what a clinic could earn from its current team, hours, average treatment value and no-shows, and estimates the possible contribution of a professional website, online booking, an aftercare shop and digital gift vouchers.

Websites for Clinics also builds custom AI treatment agents for clinics, trained on each clinic’s own treatments and approved answers, which answer client questions on the website or WhatsApp. Clinic owners can try a free live demo on the agency’s website.

“Clinic owners have trained for years to be brilliant at what they do, but the rules on how they can talk about it online keep tightening, and most generalist web designers don’t know them,” said Lisa Kelly, founder of Websites for Clinics.

“Nobody should have a treatment page flagged over one wrong word. This gives every clinic, whether they work with us or not, a free health check in a few minutes.

“Clients research a clinic long before they ever pick up the phone, often late at night. These tools show clinic owners exactly where their website is helping them and where it’s quietly costing them bookings.”

Chairperson of DANAI Christina O’Rourke added: “Our members hold themselves to the highest clinical and professional standards, and their online presence needs to reflect that. These are great tools for our community – practical, free and built by someone who understands the regulations our nurses work within.”
