The Irish Hairdressers Federation (IHF) has announced that it is introducing Business Bites, a new series of short, informative lunchtime webinars.
The sessions are designed to give IHF members valuable insights on key business topics, which will be delivered in a simple, easy-to-understand format.
Each one will feature an industry expert, who will break down complex subjects into practical advice you can use, whilst also offering you the opportunity to ask questions.
Entitled Understanding Pensions & Auto-Enrolment, the first Business Bites webinar is set to take place at the end of the month. It will feature Bernard Butler from Riordan Financial Ltd, who will discuss the new pension scheme set to rollout in September 2025.
Auto-enrolment is a new Government retirement savings scheme that people will automatically be enrolled in once they meet certain requirements. It has been set up to provide a retirement plan for those without a work or private pension to save for retirement.
According to the IHF, if you want to protect your business and avoid unexpected costs or complications, safeguards must be in place before July.
It said that the webinar will provide crucial information to help you make informed decisions now – before changes are automatically applied to your business.
