L'Oréal Professionnel Paris recently held an event in London to honour its Colour Specialist class of 2023 graduates from all around Ireland and the UK.

With a 27-year history, the L’Oréal Professionnel Paris Colour Specialist is a 15-day course where participants cover science of the hair, natural colour pigmentation, consultation, services for white hair, colour corrections, scalp bleaching, balayage and more.

In 2023 the course received a brand-new look and feel, from an enhanced syllabus, extensive practical sessions to new online footprint and improved learner resources.

According to L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, the top takeaway for graduates is often centred around the considerable boost in their confidence levels. Equipped with a comprehensive skill set, the right tools for effective consultations with clients and a deep understanding of hair colouring techniques, they feel empowered to tackle any hair colour challenge that walks through their salon door.

The 2023 graduates now join over 2,400 strong alumni and get to access additional benefits through the Colour Specialist Connective Programme, which is only available to qualified Colour Specialists in Ireland and the UK.

“L'Oréal Professionnel Paris is a pioneer in educating advanced colouring skill sets,” said Amy Woolner, head of education, L'Oréal Professionnel Paris. “Supporting Colour Specialists to reach exceptional standards is a privilege and contributes to uplifting the industry. Each graduate has diligently worked to meet these elevated standards, and they should take pride in their achievement.”
