Irish make-up artist (MUA) Sharleen Collins, with support from BPerfect Cosmetics founder Brendan McDowell, has announced a nationwide search to find Ireland's Next Top Make-up Artist.

Collins has worked on a range of projects such as The X-Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, MTV, Mamma Mia The Musical and London Fashion Week, and has been an MUA to celebrities including Pamela Anderson, Nicole Scherzinger, Naomi Campbell and Cheryl Cole.

The search for the nation's most talented make-up prodigy is open to open to everyone of all ages. No experience is necessary – they just need to have a natural flair and a passion for make-up.

To apply for the competition, entrants must fill out a questionnaire and upload a video. Every candidate is then sent an online course from Sharleen Collins Academy worth €100. If they advance to the semi-finals, they are sent a Sharleen Collins online course on a trending look(s) that they need to master and perfect.

The candidates then have three weeks to recreate these looks on a model, and send to Collins via video for submission and judging. Those who make it to the finals are invited to take part in a showdown when Collins and her expert team challenge the finalists to create three make-up looks against the clock, before the winner is crowned.

As well as being crowned  Ireland’s Next Top Make-up Artist, prizes include a place on Collins' make-up ITEC-accredited make-up course and a 12-month supply of BPerfect Cosmetics.
