Phorest hosts beach clean-up at Bull Island in Dublin

Phorest recently held a beach clean-up at Bull Island, Dublin, which was organised as part of the global Plastic Free July initiative.

The event saw a dedicated team of Phorest staff collaborate with Clean Coasts, an Irish organisation devoted to the protection and preservation of Ireland’s coastlines. Over the course of the day, Phorest employees worked together to remove litter and debris from the shores of Bull Island.

Clean Coasts empowers communities across the country to act through beach clean-ups, marine litter education and various conservation projects. According to Phorest, by partnering with the organisation, it played a role in safeguarding the natural beauty of Ireland’s beaches, contributing to the reduction of plastic waste that poses a significant threat to marine life.

“At Phorest, we believe in taking tangible actions to support the environment and our community,” said Sarah McEvoy, interim head of people at Phorest.

“Partnering with Clean Coasts for this beach clean-up allowed us to make a real difference, and we’re incredibly proud of our team’s commitment to creating a cleaner, greener future.”
