Beauty company Totalcare wins Irish Enterprise Award

Totalcare has been named Irish Beauty Company of the Year at the Irish Enterprise Awards 2022.
The Co Tipperary-based business supplies aesthetic equipment and cosmeceuticals to over 700 salons across Ireland, while its Académie Totalcare provides postgraduate training in electrolysis, IPL, microdermabrasion and thermocoagulation.
Totalcare also runs a clinic, providing a range of treatments to clients, including waxing and tinting, aesthetic facials, machine-free facials, and lymphatic drainage.
Organised by EU Business News, the Irish Enterprise Awards commend businesses that demonstrate excellence, innovation and diversity in their day-to-day operations. The awards aim to highlight start-ups and younger businesses, alongside larger corporations, in a range of categories.
Nominees are assessed on their merits, while final judgement is based on a varied criteria that includes business performance, longevity, business growth (either sustained or rapid) and any significant innovations or feedback.
Accepting the award, Totalcare director and sales/servicing and education coordinator Ben Fitzgerald said the company’s future is focused on launching new products and treatments, along with with additional cosmetic lines, new furniture, and a medical-grade camera that can be used for both medical and aesthetic treatments.
“Our postgraduate training school will continue to develop and train beauty therapists both for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s innovations,” he added.
