Beauty Therapy Apprenticeship consultations to take place
As part of the development stage of the National Beauty Therapy Apprenticeship, Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board is hosting a series of consultation workshops around the country this September.
These workshops are designed to be an opportunity for subject matter experts to come together, meet the development team and assist in the programme development.
Participants at the workshops will provide inputs into the modules and module content. These inputs will go forward to develop a best-in-class National Beauty Therapy Apprenticeship, which intends to be relevant and respected both nationally and internationally.
Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board was given approval to begin development work on a Beauty Therapy Apprenticeship earlier this year.
Programme development is being facilitated by a Consortium Steering Group, which includes beauty industry experts and professionals, representatives of industry employer organisations, representatives of small, medium and large industry employers, and education and administration professionals.
The workshops are taking place in the Menlo Park Hotel in Galway on 11 September, in the Camden Court Hotel in Dublin on 19 September and in the Charleville Park Hotel in Cork on 25 September.
