Calling all nail salons and technicians for the PBHJ Awards

This year sees the exciting launch of the PBHJ Beauty, Hair and Spa Awards, which are taking place on 7 November at Citywest in Dublin.
With two streams of categories showcasing the very best in the Irish beauty and hair sectors, the awards will unite therapists, stylists and creative teams across the entire industry, and now that everyone is back in business, there is no better time to celebrate.
The Irish nail industry is a thriving one, and as it continues to grow and produce new talent, there are two categories aimed at those working in this sector: Nail Salon of the Year and Nail Technician of the Year.
The Nail Salon of the Year category is open to any salon in Ireland that opened before the end of October 2019, and advertises itself as doing mainly or exclusively nails or hand and foot services. Entry criteria includes examples of your operational and marketing activity; examples of training; high-resolution images of your salon exterior, reception area and treatment area; and a copy of your treatment menu.
The Nail Technician of the Year category is open to any nail technician or therapist who performs nail treatments, who has been working in a salon or spa or as a mobile tech or therapist since at least the end of 2019. Home-based techs are also eligible to enter. To enter, you will need to upload your CV and professional qualifications; provide three images showcasing the creativity of your nail work with background information for each image; provide eight photographs to complete a step-by-step of a complete set of nails; give examples of your self-promotion and business promotion; and upload a high-resolution shot of yourself in a work environment.
From booming business ventures to artistic flair, there is no shortage of nail industry success stories in Ireland. So if you believe you belong at the top, why not enter the PBHJ Awards and tell us what makes you the best?
