Online beauty masterclass raises funds for Pieta House

Irish make-up artist Annette O’Brien has teamed up with hair and skin experts to launch an online beauty masterclass in aid of suicide charity Pieta House, which recently held its annual Darkness Into Light fundraiser.

O’Brien has joined forces with Audrey Cashman from UpStyle Junkie in Mallow, Co Cork and West Cork skin expert Sherna Malone to create the masterclass, which covers make-up, hair and skincare.

Last year, O’Brien, who is based in Cork and Kerry, created an online make-up tutorial, with all proceeds from tickets sales going directly to Pieta House. After raising €2,400 in 2020, she decided to add more elements to it this year.

This year’s beauty masterclass features step-by-step tutorials and advice, including an in-depth summer make-up lesson, hairstyling tips, skincare guidance and product recommendations.

Tickets to access the masterclass cost €15 and are available to purchase on O'Brien's Instagram @annetteobrien_mua until the end of May. All funds raised from the sales go directly to Pieta House. All content is prerecorded so ticket holders can watch it in their own time.
