Center Parcs Longford Forest to reopen for Christmas

Center Parcs has announced it will reopen Center Parcs Longford Forest from 18 December until 3 January, so guests can avail of festive short breaks.

Families wishing to get together over this period will receive 50% off the cost of their break, and social distancing and safety measures will be in place to protect the guests and the company's 1,000 employees.

The award-winning Aqua Sana Spa, which is Ireland’s largest stand-alone spa, will also be open. The €10m, 2,500 square-metre spa has 14 treatment rooms offering a range of Voya and Elemis packages.

The €233m Center Parcs Longford Forest resort originally opened in July 2019, but the Covid-19 pandemic saw it close early in 2020. After reopening following the first lockdown, it had to shut again in October when the Government introduced Level 3 Covid-19 restrictions nationwide.

According to the resort’s director Daragh Feighery, 2020 has been a difficult year, but people are looking forward to spending time with their loved ones over the festive period.

“The team have been working hard to create a magical experience for our guests, as well as making sure all the latest safety measures are in place to keep everyone safe,” he added.
