Cork salon announces opening of fifth branch

Cork's All About Gorgeous has announced the opening of its newest outlet at the District Health & Leisure complex, which is located at Silver Springs.

The beauty chain already has salons in Mallow, Ballincollig, Blackrock and Half Moon Street in the city centre.

The Silver Springs location will be headed up by supervisor and beauty therapist Ciara Lee, who is moving from the Blackrock salon, and beauty therapist Kelsey Mullane, who is moving from the Ballincollig branch.

All About Gorgeous was founded in 2009 by Zoe and Rachel Kelly, with the first salon opening in Blackrock under the name CityWax. The business was originally set up as a specialist waxing clinic as the Kellys believed there was a demand for a waxing-only destination in the city.

The business went on to expand into new locations, offering additional services as it grew. In 2021, it changed its name to All About Gorgeous to reflect the wider range of treatments in now offers, including skincare, laser, nails, tanning, lashes and brows.
