Do you run the best hair salon in Ireland?

Professional Beauty/Hairdressers Journal Ireland presents the Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards on the evening of Sunday, 6 November in the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin, as part of the annual PB/HJ show weekend.

With 16 categories in total – eight for beauty and eight for hair, split to recognise business and creative skills – all entries will be judged independently by industry experts who are selected for their knowledge and expertise.

Among the hair categories is Hair Salon of the Year, which is open to an independently-owned salon or one salon within a group.

To enter, we want you to tell us why you think your salon should win this award; this can be submitted in a written answer (maximum 300 words) or via a 90-second video filmed on your phone.

We also want to hear about the policies you have in place to ensure good customer relations; the promotional and marketing activity that has taken place during the past year; the key aims and objectives of your marketing and promotional plans; and the key elements of your training policy, including career opportunities. 

In addition, you will need to send us one exterior image and one interior image of your salon.

The pandemic highlighted the hugely important role hair salons play in Ireland, so entering the awards is a fitting way to celebrate your continued success within the industry. Entries are open until 29 July, so now is the time to put yourself forward in your chosen category. We look forward to hearing what makes you the best!
