L’Oréal Colour Trophy Ireland takes place in Mansion House

The L’Oréal Colour Trophy Ireland Grand Final 2022 took place in Dublin’s Mansion House on 20 June, with hundreds of competitors and guests attending the event, which was hosted by presenter Jennifer Zamparelli.

Launched in the UK in 1954, the competition was first held in Ireland in 1966. Championing professional excellence and hair artistry, the mission in 2022 was ‘to uncover talent from all corners of the Ireland’.

The judging panel included Alan EdwardsPaul DennisonSally BrooksNathan Walker and Adam Reed, with the evening featuring the ‘Pathways’ show from Darren and Jackie Ambrose ahead of the awards announcements.

The first award of the night for L’Oréal Colour Trophy Star was presented by Paul Dennison and Alan Edwards, followed by the winners of third and second places for the L’Oreal Colour Trophy Award, presented by Nathan Walker, Adam Reed and Sally Brooks respectively.

This was followed by the finale of the night, with the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award  presented by Béatrice Dautzenberg, managing director, L’Oréal Professional Products Division UK and Ireland, and David O’Brien, market director, L’Oréal Professional Products Division UK and Ireland.

Emma Marcey Collins from ODD in Limerick won the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Award, with second place going to Lauren Murray and Ciara Haide, The Academy Barber, Kilcock, Co Kildare, and third place going to Shauna McGrath and Courtney Hennessy, Komb Professional Hairdressing in Dublin.

Meanwhile, the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Star Award was won by Georgia Haverty, Peter Mark.
