Dromoland Castle in Co Clare has reopened its spa, following a refurbishment.

The Castle Spa includes six treatment rooms, a twin suite, an amber and quartz crystal bed and The Whisper Room relaxation space.

The new spa has joined forces with three premier skincare brands – Dr Barbara Sturm, Oskia and Seabody, which is an Irish company based in Co Kerry.

This is the first spa partnership for Seabody, with the sustainable seaweed brand creating new and exclusive signature treatments for The Castle Spa. The Touch Facial, Rebalance Therapy, Connect Full Body Massage and Seabody Signature Treatment feature results-driven formulations combined with immersive, full-body beauty and wellness experiences.

Seabody was founded in 2017 by a group of biotechnologists and ICT entrepreneurs with a shared passion for the marine environment and natural products. Taking a science-led approach to health and beauty, they use native Irish seaweeds to create a range of skincare products.

“We are delighted to partner with The Castle Spa at Dromoland to launch the beauty and wellness spa experience,” said Helena McMahon, co-founder of Seabody.

“Knowing the combined power of touch, nutrition, movement and breathwork, we collaborated with holistic aestheticians and therapists to create a unique holistic treatment offering.”
