Dublin hairdresser named as part of new #SKPCollective

Schwarzkopf Professional has announced the six advocates that make up its new #SKPCollective, with Ashleigh Farelley who owns Hair By Ashleigh in Dublin among the final line-up.

The digital influencer group’s goal is to support the stylist and their salon in effectively promoting their skills, business offering and the Schwarzkopf Professional brand via social media.

According to Schwarzkopf Professional, in a digital world, hairdressers are uniquely positioned in that they offer a service that will never be computerised or available online, but their online footprint is still vital. So learning how to navigate between offering personalised services and building their business digitally is crucial.

The six members of the #SKPCollective will receive bespoke training focused on social media – how to utilise it effectively, how to present yourself and your business effectively, and to put this training into practice.

They will also receive content generation opportunities all year long, from editorial shoots with fashion brands, to behind the scenes at the biggest hair shows.

The 2021 #SKPCollective members are Ashleigh Farelley, Hair By Ashleigh (@_hairbyashleigh); Justin Mackland, Ishoka (@justinatishoka); Darcey Clarke, Ashley Gamble (@darceymariahair); Stacey Whyte, Cheveux (@cheveuxsalonx); Rebecca Jacques, Daniel Granger (@rebeccajacques_hair); and Justine Weir, Tweedie & Marshall (@_styledbyjustine).
