Espa at The Europe scoops Gold Medal Award

Espa at The Europe was named Ireland’s Five-Star Spa Experience at the recent Gold Medal Awards 2019. The event, in association with Hotel & Catering Review magazine, took place on 24 September in the Lyrath Estate, Co Kilkenny.

Co Kerry’s Espa at The Europe is a multi-award-winning resort spa on the shores of Killarney’s Loch Lein, a corner of the country known for its beauty and serenity. The destination spa has been designed to be in balance with the nature of its environment, with each relaxation space created to take advantage of the landscape.

“This is such an honour and it fills us with great pride to receive this for a second year running, on behalf of all the hard working and dedicated team,” said spa manager at Espa at The Europe Ciara Power.

The Europe Hotel & Resort is part of Killarney Hotels. The group’s other properties include The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens, which scooped a Gold Medal Award for Ireland’s Best Designed Hotel. The establishment recently underwent a massive refurbishment that saw a revamp of the hotel grounds as well as its public spaces.
