Gainfort Hair & Beauty announces partnership with Pivot Point

Gainfort Hair & Beauty has announced it is now the official Irish distributor of global brand Pivot Point.

Established over 50 years ago, Pivot Point is a worldwide provider of hairdressing and beauty education solutions for training organisations, salons and students.

Gainfort will be supplying a range of branded mannequin heads, slip-ons, brush sets and other tools to the hair and beauty in industry in Ireland.

Pivot Point products feature SA8000 certification, which the brand says gives its partners the confidence that its educational hair goods are produced in sanctioned conditions.

It believes that cheap mannequins may be made at the expense of workers' rights. Pivot Point mannequins are manufactured in an SA8000 facility that guards against slave and child labour; provides the workers with a healthy and safe working environment; respects the rights of workers to join unions; and practises zero tolerance for discrimination.
