ghd is marking its 20th year in business in April by launching its limited-edition Hair-itage couture collection.

Featuring the Platinum+ styler that predicts hair’s needs; the ghd Gold styler; and the ghd Helios hairdryer, the futuristic collection in ombré chrome design includes a ghd 20th anniversary hallmark.

“ghd is a British business that started in Leeds and has transformed the hair styling category, becoming a global success story over the past 20 years,” said Jeroen Temmerman, ghd CEO.

“We are devoted to creating innovative products that have consumer and professional stylist needs at heart, to deliver the best-in-class professional hair styling tools. Looking ahead, we have a strategic focus on ground-breaking R&D and imminent global expansion plans that will ensure ghd delivers even more good hair days across the globe.”

ghd tools are used by 200,000 stylists around the world and sold in over 40 countries, and more than 45,000 salons. The company sells two million stylers every year, while five ghd products are sold every minute. The brand has won over 300 beauty awards for its tools, which maintain a consistent heat of 185ºC, which is the optimum temperature for heat styling, without compromising the health of hair.
