ghd celebrates 20 years of breast cancer charities support

ghd has launched its ghd pink limited edition collection 2023 in aid of breast cancer charities, including the Irish Cancer Society.

ghd is this year celebrating 20 years of supporting breast cancer charities with its annual pink campaign, which has raised more than US$23m for breast cancer charities worldwide, while putting a spotlight on the importance of self-checking.

As the brand continues to commit to raising funds for its breast cancer charity partners, with every purchase of the new ghd pink limited edition collection, ghd will donate to a breast cancer charity.

For the past three years, ghd has been on a mission to empower young women across the world to start regularly checking their breasts with its Take Control Now Campaign. This year to raise awareness of the importance of self-check for early diagnosis, it has told the real life story of Becksy Silverwood, a professional dancer who was diagnosed with breast cancer at 29 years of age.

“I am incredibly proud of the long-standing commitment ghd has made to the breast cancer community,” said Jeroen Temmerman, ghd CEO. “For the past 20 years we have dedicated a moment in the year to raising awareness of breast cancer, generating over US$23m for breast cancer charities across the world, and we remain committed to this cause and to delivering on this year after year.”

Featuring a soft pink peach shade, the new limited edition products and zip bags are embossed with the Take Control Now campaign phrase. The collection includes ghd platinum+, ghd glide, ghd gold and ghd helios, along with ghd unplugged.
