ghd opens 185 ghd house to mark 20 years
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, ghd has opened 185 ghd house, a virtual 360 3D environment where guests can explore, interact and access exclusive content in a hyper-real environment.
The digital experience showcases ghd’s designs, technology, catwalk hairstyles and professional expertise.
Inside 185 ghd house, six virtual rooms can be explored for a fully immersive hair experience. From the virtual salon space, guests can meet and interact with ghd’s global ambassadors in virtual avatar form, discover new hair looks and the tools favoured by the exports.
Guests can also view the tech lab to see the real-life experiments that take place in the ghd R&D labs in Cambridge in the UK,where scientists develop ghd’s products and technology.
In addition, they can capture themselves in the content studio with five ghd filters and gain exclusive access to behind the scenes at Fashion Week.
With 185 ghd house remaining live for one year, the brand said it will give guests the opportunity to create their own journey, escaping reality and opening up a whole new virtual hair world.
