Hair and beauty professionals win at Power of Women Awards

A number of female hair and beauty professionals were honoured at the recent Eir VIP Publishing Power of Women Awards, which took place at the Marker Hotel in Dublin on 18 November.
Around 200 guests attended the ceremony, which saw 12 awards handed out to female entrepreneurs from across a range of sectors, including hair, beauty and wellness.
The Hair Care Award was won by Ceira Lambert, Hair Consultancy. Renowned in the industry for her expertise in hair extensions and working with Gold Fever, Lambert more recently launched C30, a hair extension protection range.
The Beauty Industry Award was won by Suzanne Jackson for her Dripping Gold tanning brand, while the the Cosmetics & Skin Care Award was won by Keilidh Cashell, Kash Beauty. Influencer and MUA Cashel launched her own brand in 2019.
The Special Award for Excellence in Young Entrepreneurship, which is aimed at women who have created an inspiring business and inspired hundreds of other young women to follow in their footsteps, went to Aimee Connolly, founder of Sculpted by Aimee.
Meanwhile, Peigin Crowley from Ground Wellbeing won the Wellness Award, which celebrates the women whose businesses focus on our mental, physical and emotional health.
“We conceived of this event deep in lockdown, admiring the tough businesswomen we saw not only persevering, but even starting brand new businesses in an incredibly difficult climate,” said Vicky Notaro, managing director of VIP Publishing.
