Iguazu Beauty holds virtual facial event for cancer charity

Iguazu Beauty and its clients have now raised over €5,000 for Irish cancer charities, with the most recent fundraising event taking place online on Irish Daffodil Day on 26 March.

Clients purchased  Repêchage Express Facial Kits for €35, which they received in the post. They then joined in a live facial tutorial where everyone simultaneously carried out an at-home facial treatment.

All profits from the facial kits were donated to the Irish Cancer Society, which holds Daffodil Day each year as part of its fundraising drive. Iguazu Beauty held a similar virtual facial event last October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“The response in October was overwhelming,” said Louise O Loughlin, owner, Iguazu Beauty. “Not only did people continue to buy the facial kits throughout the year, but they all learned so much about their skin and how to care for it at home. They continued to shop; this has kept us in business, and given us one of the best years in retail ever.”

The Repêchage Express Facial Kits treat a range of conditions, including rosacea and sensitive or pigmented skin. With five facials in each box, the products are uni-dose packaging and step-by-step instructions are included. These facials are also carried out in the salon as an express treatment lasting approximately 45 minutes.
