Irish beauty entrepreneur launches wellness eye masks

Irish beauty entrepreneur Charlene McMahon has launched her own range of wellness eye masks, which she created during the pandemic.
Glow Masks is a range of self-heating, jasmine-scented eye masks, which are designed to help clients relax and relieve tired eyes.
McMahon is the owner and clinical director of Touch & Glow Skin and Laser Clinic, which has branches in Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan and Ardee, Co Louth. Specialising in non-surgical aesthetic treatments, Touch & Glow skin therapists are trained in paramedical and dermal skin techniques, taking a long-term approach to optimum skin health.
“At the beginning of the pandemic, my salons were closed and I had to find a new way of living and working from home,” said McMahon. “I did struggle to manage my time and really prioritise my own routine. I was extremely busy and my schedule was hectic. I would find myself in front of the computer late at night processing online orders, and when it came to go to sleep I would be unable to switch off.
“So, I decided to do something about it and find a way to help me to zone out, and Glow Masks was born. In my own salons, we have been incorporating Glow Masks into some of our treatments as an added relaxation element, and have had fantastic feedback from clients.”
McMahon now plans to supply Glow Masks within the Irish market and beyond.
