Irish Spa Association announces appointment of general manager

The Irish Spa Association (ISA) has announced the appointment of Fiona Collins as its new general manager.

Collins has more than 20 years’ industry experience, having previously worked as spa and fitness manager at The Brehon Hotel & Angsana Spa in Killarney, and assistant spa director at the Madinat Jumeriah resort in Dubai.

In 2020, she founded her Spa Wellness Consultancy, which sees her working on development projects to create spa and wellness experiences that are both commercially and sustainably viable. She has also completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training, and is ambassador for Ireland as part of the Global Wellness Day Team.

“We’re delighted to announce that Fiona Collins has been appointed general manager to lead the team through the next year,” said Peigín Crowley, ISA co-founder.

“Our industry has seen difficult changes in recent years and we really look forward to coming together as a community to support and build a strategy for the future.”

Collins added: “I’m delighted to be part of the ISA team and excited to help grow and cement its place within the industry.”
