Leaf Scissors appoints Dublin stylist as new brand ambassador

Leaf Scissors has appointed Dublin stylist Danielle Garner to its panel of hairdressing experts as the brand’s newest ambassador.
She joins other Leaf ambassadors Ky Wilson and Charlie Gray to help spread the Leaf message and encourage hairdressers to make more sustainable choices.
Based in Dublin, Garner worked for four years as a stylist behind the chair, before moving into session styling. After leaving her salon job, she began renting a small room to do client appointments, which gave her the freedom to run her own diary and be available to do shoots and weddings as and when opportunities arrived. Alongside her best friends, she then went onto curate Wildflower, a salon space in Dublin’s Ranelagh.
“We are overjoyed to have Danielle on board,” said Steve McManus, founder of Leaf. “We are so impressed with her journey, her ethos and her approach to the hairdressing industry; it’s remarkable and complements Leaf Scissors beautifully. I know Danielle will make the perfect addition to our Leaf ambassador line-up, and we are very excited for what is to come.”
“For me, being the first Irish and first female ambassador for Leaf Scissors means the world,” said Garner. “I wanted to be a part of a brand that whole heartedly had the ethics and values that I have at the core of their business, and Leaf Scissors is exactly that.
“Seeing how Leaf is making a stamp on the industry by bringing sustainability and mindful working to the forefront makes it even more important for me to be a part of this movement. I cannot wait for the future with Leaf and all the projects ahead.”
