L'Oréal launches Hair the Love 2022 campaign

L'Oréal Professional Products Division has launched its Hair the Love 2022 In The Hands of a Pro campaign, in collaboration with charity partner Look Good Feel Better.
Hair the Love is the company’s annual initiative, which is designed to highlight the essential role of hairdressers, and how they impact on clients’ physical and mental wellbeing every day.
This year’s In The Hands of a Pro campaign is supported by a video featuring familiar L'Oréal faces such as Emma Willis and Pixie Lott, along with hairdressing professionals. Each ‘power couple’ share their journey together and highlight how essential the role of hairdressing is within society.
In addition to the video, L'Oréal Professional Products Division is encouraging all salons, stylists and their clients to share their own stories across social media and build the momentum for the Hair The Love movement.
The campaign will also be asking members of the public to tag their favourite stylist/salon on social media using the hashtag #HAIRTHELOVE2022IRE. Clients can share salon-chair selfies, videos, reels and stories about their favourite stylist and salon.
The campaign includes a charity partnership with Look Good Feel Better, where €1 will be donated for each post using the hashtag #HAIRTHELOVE2022IRE throughout February. Look Good Feel Better offers free hair and make-up workshops to women suffering with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
“The L'Oréal Professional Products Division Hair The Love 2022 In The Hands of a Pro campaign truly brings to life the immense impact that hairdressers have on people's lives, every day,” said Béatrice Dautzenberg, managing director, L'Oréal Professional Products Division UK & Ireland.
“We are so grateful for the powerful voices of our nine ‘power couples’ to help us amplify this important message, and celebrate the unique relationship between hairdresser and client. We continue on our mission to support the bright future of the hairdressing industry, and showcase just how amazing this vocation is. I continue to be impressed with hairdressers across the UK and Ireland and the positive approach they have in these challenging times.”
