Mink Donnybrook reopens after undergoing refurbishment

Mink has reopened its Donnybrook branch, after closing it for refurbishment.

Originally opening in 2006, the Dublin 4 nail salon was the first Mink branch, with the business subsequently opening outlets in Ballsbridge and Monkstown.

The Ballsbridge location underwent a redesign in early 2020, while the Monkstown branch launched in March this year, after its opening was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“As we put the final little touches to our original home in Donnybrook, we are taking a little moment to pause and say thank you to each and every client who have stayed with us, while we closed, and have remained ever patient,” Mink said in a social media post.

“This refurbishment has given us the opportunity to provide our customers with clean air supply, new ergonomic pipeless pedicure chairs, total comfort in our bespoke manicure seats, and all the little details you expect like that perfect cup of hot coffee when you arrive.”

Founded by Kate Verling, Mink is a family-run business that focuses solely on hand and foot care. Featuring signature manicures and pedicures, along with other services such as nail art, bridal consultations, and specific menus for kids and men, brands at Mink include Essie, OPI, Jessica and Semilac.
