Mink Dublin launches Modern Rose collection

Mink Dublin is launching a new range of nine products for clients to use at home.

According to the hand and foot spa, its Modern Rose collection has been two years in the making after it came up with an idea in 2018 to create a signature scent for an at-home line. Mink has described the new collection as a ‘passion project’ and the next step of the company’s journey.

Modern Rose has been handmade in Co Cork by perfumer Lucy Hagerty of La Bougie. Infused with Bulgarian rose oil, the products are boosted by natural ingredients to sooth, nourish and comfort the skin. Peigín Crowley, co-founder of the Irish Spa Association, is also part of the Modern Rose team.

Mink Dublin has two branches in Ballsbridge and Donnybrook. Founded by Kate Verling in 2006, the Ballsbridge Mink underwent an extensive refurbishment at the beginning of this year.

Teaming up with Grainne Weber Architects, Mink added individual sinks to each bespoke manicure table to ensure the client is not disturbed or moved during a treatment. Truwood Joinery in Co Monaghan handmade the furniture package, and other Irish suppliers and material were used as much as possible.

Mink has also added Waldron Podiatry to its flagship Ballsbridge location. Lead podiatrist Saoirse Waldron provides a full service menu, from general chiropody care, to laser treatment.
