Mink to open third branch in Monkstown village

Mink is opening a new branch in Monkstown in Dublin, with the new salon set to launch on 24 March.

Founded by Kate Verling in 2006, Mink has two other salons in Dublin, in Donnybrook and Ballsbridge. The Ballsbridge branch underwent a redesign in early 2020, with Grainne Weber Architects overseeing the project.

Focusing solely on hand and foot care, the Monkstown location was originally slated to open in 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic. The new branch will offer a range of Mink’s signature manicures and pedicures, along with other services such as nail art, bridal consultations, and specific menus for kids and men.

Like the Donnybrook and Ballsbridge outlets, it will also feature brands such Essie, OPI, Jessica and Semilac, and will have a focus on sustainability.

A family-run business, Mink also launched its Modern Rose collection in November 2020. The range of nine products for clients to use at home was created by a team, including Co Cork perfumer Lucy Hagerty of La Bougie. Infused with Bulgarian rose oil, the products are boosted by natural ingredients to sooth, nourish and comfort the skin.
