Monart wins top prize in Pevonia UK Awards

Each year, Pevonia UK presents awards to spas, salons and therapists in six different categories. 

The businesses are judged on sales, performance, marketing strategy and activity, training, staffing, creativity, inventiveness, and overall success, as well as the results of their customer nominations.

Voting opened on 1 February 2019 and was available for three months. Over 1,000 public votes were received ahead of a meeting by the panel of judges.

“The meeting sees a good deal of deliberation, but the judges look forward to reading the comments put forward by clients of each business. It is wonderful that so many people take the time and effort to vote for their favourites,” said Jane Norman, PR and marketing manager for Pevonia UK.

Winners and runners-up in the awards were announced on 14 May 2019 and over the coming weeks the winning spas and salons will be personally presented with an engraved trophy, along with a winner’s emblem to use on their marketing materials and certificate to display within their premises.

Other winners included Amathus Spa, Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol, Cyprus (European Destination Spa of the Year); Thespa at Cadbury House, Bristol (Hotel Spa of the Year); and Dreamsday Spa, Carlisle (Day Spa of the Year).

Meanwhile, Carton House Spa, Carton House Golf & Spa Resort, Co Kildare came Highly Commended in the Destination Spa of the Year category.
