Moroccanoil joins Peta’s Beauty Without Bunnies programme

Moroccanoil has announced that it is joining Peta’s Beauty Without Bunnies programme, certifying that it never tests its products on animals.
Founded over a decade ago, Moroccanoil began with Moroccanoil Treatment, the brand’s signature product, and is now a full hair and body care line, all infused with argan oil.
In order to receive Peta’s Beauty Without Bunnies certification, companies and their suppliers must commit never to conduct, commission, pay for, or allow tests on animals at any phase of development, for both ingredients and final products.
Over 5,000 brands have this certification globally, making it one of the most well-known third-party certifications of no animal testing around the world.
According to Moroccanoil, a commitment to animal welfare has been among its guiding principles since its beginnings, and this partnership continues that pledge, reaffirming its active commitment to never test any of its products on animals, and to never commission third parties to do so on its behalf, including its raw material providers.
The company said that it is, and always has been, wholeheartedly committed to never testing its products on animals. Obtaining this official certification was an important next step as it continues its commitment to animal welfare, it added.
Moroccanoil is distributed in Ireland by Xpert Professional.
