National Spa Week kicks off today

The focus for this year’s National Spa Week, which starts today, is on gaining maximum Press coverage for spas and for the industry.

The week of activities, organised by the UK Spa Association, will involve spas across the country running promotions including Meet and Treat packages that offer 20% discounts on treatments.

Participating spas include Ragdale Hall, which is running an Energy for Life event offering free demos and workshops for anyone booking a spa break, the Spa London group, which is offering limited-edition 25-minute scrubs for £25, and the HandPicked Hotels group, which is offering a Champagne Afternoon Tea For Two Spa package at nine of its spas including Rookery Hall (pictured).

National Spa Week will also include a Seven Days of Spa competition will run each day this week, giving consumers the chance to win a different prize every day, including hampers of spa products each worth over £500.

The Spa PR Company is working with the association to promote the spas’ activities and boost awareness of the accessibility of spa treatments to a wider audience. The week is also being promoted via the Good Spa Guide
