Olaplex announces appointment of international education manager

Olaplex has announced the appointment of Mark Coates as its new international education manager.

Coates has been working in the hair industry for over 25 years, developing his educational, technical and creative skills with companies and brands such as TONI&GUY, Aveda, and Bumble and Bumble.

With a passion for education and sharing his knowledge with hair stylists worldwide through his training and coaching programmes, some of his career highlights include working on New York, London and Paris Fashion Weeks, along with Fashion Rocks, an annual international charity fundraiser event. His work has also featured in a number of trade and consumer publications.

According to Coates, he joins Olaplex to work in a dynamic, creative environment, where he can connect with a forward-thinking team and share his industry knowledge with some of the best in the business.

Throughout 2022, Olaplex distributor Xpert Professional will welcome Coates to its Accademia training centre in Dublin to conduct a series of Olaplex technical training courses.
