Online gift vouchers latest in Phorest Covid-19 offering

Phorest has launched its online gift voucher feature to its Irish and UK clients as part of its latest offering to assist businesses impacted by the Covid-19 crisis.

Available directly in the software, the feature can be switched on at a click of a button and clients can smart link their gift voucher purchase link directly into their email and SMS templates from within the Phorest marketing suite. This makes promoting their salon’s new voucher offering to their customers quick and easy, according to the software company.

Initially launched in the US, Phorest said the gift voucher feature has proven a huge success with its clients, with one salon owner with a team of 11 selling $15,000 in gift cards online in four days during the current lockdown.

“The launch of online gift vouchers had already been on our roadmap, but with the current crisis we have worked around the clock to bring this forward and give our clients the opportunity to continue to generate revenue and engage with their customers, even if the doors to their salon are temporarily closed,” commented Ronan Perceval, CEO of Phorest Salon Software.

Phorest said it understands that this is a stressful and worrying time for salon owners and the aim is to continue to help and support where possible.
