Professional Beauty & Hair 2023 – don't miss out on day two's exciting line-up!
Professional Beauty & Hair 2023, in partnership with Irish Beauty and headline sponsor Treatwell, opened yesterday, with thousands of visitors attending the ultimate beauty and hair event.
With the doors of the RDS opening at 10am, the first day saw exhibitors showcase their products and new launches, as some of the biggest brands in the business were on hand to introduce their latest innovations.
The day also featured three live stages, with some well-known industry names giving talks and doing skills demonstrations on a variety of topics.
Presented by Hairdressers Journal International and Modern Barber, the Hair & Barbering Stage hosted Aidan Fitzgerald and his team, as they showed off their cutting techniques and explained the different ways to tempt colour clients back to the salon more regularly.
Waxing therapist Gillian Redmond spoke about intimate waxing on the Trends & Techniques Stage, while Laser Clinics Australia's Louise Guilfoyle talked about attracting and retaining talent.
Meanwhile, the Skin & Advanced Treatments Stage included salon owner Lisa Moroney, who talked about added laser treatments to your menu, and CEO of Blumain Organic Skincare Sinead Murphy, who spoke about educating clients on the proper use of products, and boosting your retail offering.
The first day of the show also saw the beginning of our Nails Competitions, which were held in collaboration with the Federation of Nail Professionals (FNP) and sponsored by Glitterbels, and the newly-launched Make-up Competitions, the latter which was hosted by Irish Beauty.
With the winners announced in a number of categories, the remainder will be held today, so there's still time to put yourself forward and be recognised for your talent and creative flair.
The live stages also return today, with another inspirational line-up. Highlights include Dr Ciaran O'Carroll speaking about sustainability on the Trends & Techniques Stage, along with Glow Up stars James Mac and Niall Casey. The Hair & Barbering Stage will welcome Sean Taaffe and Kevin.Murphy head educator Aaron Nation.
And, of course, along with all these exciting features is your unique opportunity to network with your peers, giving you the chance to make your next business connection. To register for day two of Professional Beauty & Hair 2023, click here. We can't wait to see you there!
