Schwarzkopf Professional launches home delivery service

Schwarzkopf Professional has launched a home delivery service to support salons in keeping the supply of premium professional products flowing direct to their consumers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to the company, Schwarzkopf Professional Home Delivery facilitates salons’ clients to order homecare products while keeping salon partners firmly at the centre of the process.

Drawing upon buying pattern data across styling, care and colour, Schwarzkopf Professional’s team has selected from the most popular ranges for the new delivery service, which is designed to be uncomplicated, reliable and swift.

It begins with salons promoting their new service on their own social or direct marketing channels; next salons receive their clients’ orders; followed by salons placing individual, or multiple orders with their Schwarzkopf Professional sales advisor. From here Schwarzkopf Professional processes, picks, packs and despatches the order to the salon customer, and delivery is free.

“This new service is a win-win for salons and salon clients alike,” said Julian Crane, general manager, Henkel Beauty Care Professional UK & Ireland.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity for salons to keep in touch both supportively and meaningfully with clients and will open up the opportunity for consultations online and the sharing of techniques for using our colour depositing heroes to best effect.”

Also in Ireland, Schwarzkopf parent company Henkel has launched Helpyoursalon.ie, a voucher site for Ireland that’s free from any brand affiliation and open for any salon or freelance hairdresser to use. Furthermore, it has donated thousands of haircare and styling products to staff at St James Hospital in Dublin.
