The Skin Nerd hosts sold out workshop in newly revamped CH Tralee

Jennifer Rock, aka, The Skin Nerd, recently hosted her Skingredients Workshop in the newly revamped CH Tralee.

Over 120 people attended the event on Friday, 22 November, with tickets sold out well in advance.

CH Tralee, which includes a pharmacy, opticians, beauty salon, photo services, cosmetics, fragrance and gift hall, underwent a major €1.5m refurbishment over the summer and moved to a temporary premises while the work was being done. The new store has opened in time for the festive season in its original home in The Mall in the centre of the town.

The Skingredients Workshop included a glass of bubbly on arrival, a goody bag and top tips for skin expert Rock, who is a multi-award winning dermal facialist and skin tutor. She is also the bestselling author of The Skin Nerd: Your Straight-Talking Guide to Feeding, Protecting and Respecting Your Skin and regularly appears on Irish TV and radio, and in newspapers and magazines.

Rock launched her Skingredients line in CH in June when she visited the store to train the CH team in the range and how to give the best advice for all customers. Skingredients targets skin concerns rather than skin types because, according to Rock, your skin is an ever-changing organ that requires different results driven ingredients at different times and specific core ingredients all the time. There are seven products in the capsule collection.
