The Skin Nerd teams up with Happy Pear to teach online course

Jennifer Rock, aka The Skin Nerd, has teamed up with health gurus The Happy Pear to teach a four-week online course called ‘The Happy Skin’.

The course is designed to help boost skin health from the inside out through a combination of a wholefood plant-based diet plan and expert skincare advice.

The Happy Pear launched the initiative with an evening talk on 4 September in Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre with Jennifer Rock. The Happy Pear are twins David and Stephen Flynn, who run a healthy empire comprising of three cafes, a farm, a product range, a roastery, online courses and over 100 employees.

Rock is a multi-award winning dermal facialist and skin tutor, and author of the bestselling book The Skin Nerd: Your Straight-Talking Guide to Feeding, Protecting and Respecting Your Skin. She regularly appears on TV, on the radio and in the pages of national newspapers and magazines. She is Virgin Media One’s Ireland AM resident beauty expert, Irish Country Magazine’s skin agony aunt and a columnist at the Irish Examiner.

Over the four weeks of ‘The Happy Skin’ course Rock will give expert skincare advice covering all aspects of skin health, including how to identify main skin concerns, establishing a skincare routine, skin throughout our lifetime, whole body skin health, SOS skin tips and more.
