Thérapie Clinic reports rise in demand for ‘jeck’ treatments

Thérapie Clinic has reported a rise in demand for neck and and jaw filler treatments since its branches have reopened following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.
With over 20 clinics across counties in Ireland, and over 50 in the UK, the Irish family-owned company said it said its has seen a 200% increase in demand for these ‘jeck’ treatments from clients.
Such treatments tackle the areas of the neck, jowls and jaw and Thérapie Clinic attributed the current popularity of these procedures to a number of factors, including increased time spent on Zoom, and more investment in self-care.
“Treatments that target the ‘jeck’ area incorporate dermal fillers, which provide sculpting, definition and enhancement in the lower face, delivering a subtly enhanced definition to the jawline and a harmonisation and balance to the chin area,” said Dr Paul Reddy, medical director at Thérapie Clinic.
“These treatments contribute to a marked reduction and resolution to any early jowling or shadowing in the lower face area.”
Owned by siblings Phillip and Katie McGlade, Thérapie Clinic has been steadily expanding over the past few years, and recently opened four new clinics in London. Earlier this year it acquired Skinsmiths, a London-based company with 10 beauty clinics.
